KAJOTE General Superintendence Co. Ltd successfully delivered discharging supervision and draft survey inspection services for MV. TOMINI LIBERTY, which discharged granular sulphur in bulk at Dar es Salaam Port (DP World Terminal).
The operation represented a key bulk cargo handling assignment, requiring strict control, accuracy, and compliance with international maritime and terminal standards. KAJOTE General Superintendence Co. Ltd’s survey team was present on site throughout the discharge process to oversee cargo handling activities, verify operational procedures, and ensure safe and efficient discharge of the sulphur cargo.

Given the nature of granular sulphur as a sensitive bulk commodity, particular emphasis was placed on monitoring discharge sequences, cargo condition, and housekeeping practices to minimize losses and ensure environmental and safety compliance. Continuous coordination was maintained with the vessel’s master and officers, terminal operators, stevedores, and port authorities to facilitate smooth operations without interruption.
Comprehensive pre-discharge and post-discharge draft surveys were conducted to accurately determine the quantity of cargo discharged. All draft readings, ballast checks, and calculations were performed in accordance with internationally accepted draft survey methodologies, providing transparent and reliable figures that safeguard the commercial interests of all parties involved.
Upon completion of the assignment, detailed survey reports were issued, documenting operational observations and confirmed cargo quantities in line with industry best practices.

This successful project further reinforces KAJOTE General Superintendence Co. Ltd’s reputation as a trusted provider of discharging supervision and draft survey inspection services for bulk commodities, supporting fertilizer, chemical, and industrial supply chains across major ports in Tanzania.
