Inspection Services

Inspection services include quantity ascertainment through tallying, weighing and measurement and quality ascertainment through sampling and testing. Inspection covers a wide range of commodities namely agricultural, petroleum, petrochemical, minerals, industrial and other consumer products.

Our company has officially been licensed to provide cargo superintendence services by Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC) and Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) known as Miscellaneous port service (MPS).

Quality and Quantity Control

Quality ensure that the products meet the international standards specifications and government regulations thus minimize risk of defective goods while quantity control ensures fair trade between importer and receiver by determining quantity received or delivered independently and without being biased. Our services are maintained to internationally accepted ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025: 2005.

Loading and Discharge Survey

We offer loading / discharge supervision of various trade products, dry cargo ex motor tanker, motor vessel, trucks, wagons and containers to protect the interest of our principal prior to transportation of goods.

Bunkering Supervision

We accurately quantify both the receiving and delivering vessel prior to and after bunkering operation, checking validity of their calibration tables and verify sounding equipment used, apply trim correction in order to avoid any dispute of delivered figures.

On Hire /Off Hire Bunker Survey

We quantify the bunkers on board during ON/OFF hire bunker survey so that the client can know the actual quantity of fuel on board during delivery and re-delivery, daily consumption. Thus, enables client to easily calculate the cost of fuel that is needed during hiring of the vessel to reach their destination or balance of fuel on board after charter period is over.

On Hire/ Off Hire Condition Survey

On hire condition survey is very imperative we check the general condition of vessel from Hull, Hold, Hatches, Hatch covers, deck house, hose testing for water ingress and certify the vessel for loading, if it’s not in good condition and order we notify our client soonest and we advise the way forward. Off hire condition survey we check the general condition of the vessel to identify if there is any damage that might have occurred during client charter period our report might be represented in case of any claims that may arise.

Draft Survey

We quantify the bulk cargo e.g. clinker, coal, fertilizer, maize etc by checking the draught mark on the vessel allows draught surveyor to measure how deep the vessel lies in the water which permits the displacement of the vessel and thus its cargo calculated upon arrival and departure, to get actual tonnage discharged or loaded as such we enable our client to know the quantity of cargo on board the vessel

Damage Survey

The purpose of the survey is to perform a thorough investigation of the circumstance leading to damage, potential cause identified and the extent of damage plus limitation plans are represented. Our survey report accompanied by photographic or video evidence is acceptable by leading insurance companies.

Petroleum products and chemicals inspections

Inspection involves inspecting for quantity and quality of petroleum and chemical products to establish their conformity to required Local and international standards and specifications. The inspections can be performed at different stages in the operations process, comprising to storage locations and at loading or unloading installations, on vessels, or in-road tank trucks. It involves also reports on the visual condition of the cargo, performs shore and ship tank measurement (ullage Inspection), and draws samples to check quality by laboratory analysis for the purpose of reassurance of actual weight and quality of the products.
